A memory I will always remember…

So, my first house had a recording studio attached to it. My Dad spent every day in there. I LOVED to witness the things going on in that studio. There was one day that I fondly remember. I was sitting in the chair with wheels, rolling across the floor, as usual, and I notice my Dad is frustrated after something we had just listened to. To me, it sounded so beautiful. He told me that it wasn’t perfect and told me all of the things he thought needed to be improved. This is the moment where I realized that artists are never fully satisfied with their own art. I think it’s one of the most beautiful things about creation! Imperfection is absolutely beautiful.

With all of that being said, I too, am never satisfied with what I create. I always see room for improvement. I hope I always do. I love photography because I’m constantly learning so much every single time I use the camera. From the technical aspects, to the environment around me, or the subject. I am always being inspired by the change of it all. I am so thankful to have my camera and a [developing] skill that has taken me so many places, pushed me out of many comfort zones and been the reason why I know so many beautiful people.

So thankful for the people who I have met through photography. I love art.

Happy 20th Birthday, Forest Rain Fisher. <3
